Delicately detailed floral vines are masterfully cut into the top of this lovely octagonal shaped jewelry box.
Box is made from solid Padauk, an imported exotic wood from Africa. This piece was carefully cut using a scroll saw. The inside of this box is coated with warm chocolate brown colored flocking. Lid is attached using a wooden dowel pin to swivel open. Box is gently hand sanded, then finished with three coats of Danish oil to preserve the natural beauty of the wood.
Jewelry box measures 5 x 5 x 1.25 inches.
Each and every item in my shop is hand made by me, using only the best woods available. I take pride in my workmanship and personally hand select each piece of wood, using the grain for inspiration. Plaques are made of solid hardwoods, using plywood backers for structure and durability.
ABSOLUTELY NO LASERS OR CNC MACHINES ARE USED.
