A lovely china pitcher.

Semi-vitreous pitcher is by Mercer of Trenton, New Jersey.

Pitcher is beautifully embellished with lily pads and cattails in the mold. Design is further enhanced with transferware pink poppies, yellow blooms and gilded trim.

Lovely on a shelf or open cabinet.

Measures 8 inches front to back and 5 inches wide; stands 8.5 inches tall.

Pitcher is approximately 100 years old and is in very nice antique condition. There is some loss to the transfer pattern and order gilding; slight overall crazing. Stress fracture on handle most likely related to age. Please see all photos; use the "zoom" feature to enhance detail.
