order This is an adorable, vintage 1950's or earlier, miniature, cast-iron, cat souvenir from Salisbury Beach, MASS. He is a very, cute, white & tan, painted, iron kitten sporting a ribbon around his neck and measures approximately 1 inch deep x 2.25 inches long x 1.75 inches tall. He is attached to graduated, blue, red & olive green, felt mats with scalloped edges which measures 2.75 x 4.25 inches in size. There is a plastic label reading “Souvenir Salisbury Beach, MASS” which has been attached to the felt mats with grommets. The cat has been glued in place. The cast-iron cat may have been made by a well known company such as “Hubley” or others, but the underside of the cat cannot be seen. He is in vintage condition with some chipped & missing paint as well as some holes in the felt mat. He is a 2-for however, representing cast-iron miniatures as well as a Massachusetts souvenir.
