Unique antique match striker, vintage match strike, pyrogene. This one is made of a rough porcelain and has a goat as the dominant feature of the piece. He appears to be standing by an ancient stone tablet. The writing on it is only legible at the top. The first word is, Donkey and the second word is barometer. After that, you can only read the first few letters of each word. They do not appear to be in English.

Great addition to a vintage match holder/striker collection, or decorative piece for the coffee or dinner table. It order will definitely be a conversation starter. This is a piece to hand down from one generation to the next.
