Each gorgeous tree is made out of paper embedded with seeds — you can grow them! Each is handmade from recycled paper pulp and is fully biodegradable for a perfect sustainable gift.

You can order just the trees, the trees and the cards, or trees with cards packaged as shown. Costs are given in the drop down menu. Choose fall colors or greens, depending on the season you wish to celebrate. Make your color selection using the drop down menu. You can choose 'other' and then leave a note at checkout if you'd like a particular color scheme.

Order the cards from the drop down menu. If you would like to further dress up the trees and cards, we recommend to package them together inside a sweet little baker's wax bag and tie with yarn for the perfect finishing touch. We can supply the materials! Just use the drop down menu to click and add the packaging to your order.

The back of the card has tree ring with heart personalized with your initials or a word of your choice. The other side has planting instructions and more room to personalize.

{ SIZE }
Trees are 3 inches tall. If you order the cards, they are 3x3 inches, printed on 110 lb white cardstock. They fit perfectly inside the bags, which are flat, and made out of wax paper. If you order a set with 'packaging' you will receive the wax paper bags as well as thread in a coordinating color. If you have a specific thread color you want, be sure to leave a note at checkout to request that. We will do our best to match!

{ PLANTING SEEDS }
All paper is made fresh-to-order so please allow for some time in creating these items before they are shipped. Seeds are a specially chosen mix of annuals, for first year color, and perennials for blooms in the years to follow: Snapdragons, cosmos, daisies, zinnia, poppies, cornflowers, forget-me-nots, asters, columbine, black-eyed susans, calendula, marigold, lupine, Sweet William, dianthus, and other pretty garden flower seeds. Many attract butterflies, bees, and hummingbirds. Planting is simple but not order foolproof: Plant just under fertile soil in warm sunlight and keep damp to grow. Keep the paper dry and out of direct sunlight until it's time to plant it.

** We are sorry tree seeds are not available on this item. Tree seeds do not have a very good germination rate and also tend to take a very long time to sprout or need very specific climate conditions. Many are also way too large to embed in paper. For all of these reasons, we discourage the use of tree seeds in plantable paper.
