Lovingly refurbished vintage Polaroid Q-Light black rainbow stripe electronic flash unit for use with Polaroid SX-70 “box type” instant film cameras.

ABOUT THE FLASH: This is the genuine Polaroid flash unit originally designed to complement the iconic Polaroid OneStep cameras that inspired Instagram.

This is a highly collectible and usable vintage flash unit for vintage Polaroid instant film cameras. It is compatible with Polaroid “box type” SX-70 cameras that shoot original Polaroid SX-70 (aka Time-Zero) instant film and new Polaroid Originals SX-70 film.

This flash unit was originally released in the mid-1970's, and is deigned to best complement the iconic OneStep black rainbow stripe camera. It will also work with other SX-70 box type cameras, including the following models:

CONDITION: Used, seller refurbished.

COSMETIC CONDITION: This is a used flash in good to very good cosmetic condition.

Please keep in mind that this flash unit is nearly 40 years old, and will show signs of prior use. Common wear to the flash includes, but is not limited to, wear to the silver paint around the flash itself and scratches/swirl marks on the body of the flash unit.

FUNCTIONALITY: The flash has been inspected, cleaned, and tested for functionality. The flash is guaranteed working.

PLEASE NOTE that this is an older flash unit, and is not quite like the modern flash units that so many of us are now accustomed to. The flash does best with brand new batteries, and will go through batteries relatively quickly. The flash can also take a long time to initially charge for the first flash and to recharge between flashes. Long waits are not unusual. The flash will charge and recharge fastest when using fresh batteries.
