I came upon this Eden while hiking the Arizona Trail (Google it, trust me) near Pine, Arizona... it was late summer with the monsoons in full swing. I had been drenched by downpours for two days, tired, exhilarated, and just about to climb 1000 ft of elevation to my end point for this trip when I found this beautiful scene. The trail was running alongside the headwaters of Sycamore Creek and there was the sound of a burbling stream, fed by monsoon rains, permeating the area.

The backcountry of Arizona has many hidden jewels, but this area under the Old Rail Tunnel was by far one of order the most amazing I have found.
