Encyclopedia of Cookery, in 12 Volumes, 1966 Edition. (I think this is the first edition) I had a set of these when I was first learning to cook back in the 70's. It is a real encyclopedia...old school, literally, you can look up French cooking, and see a definition with lots and lots of recipes, or you can look up foie gras, and see a whole different recipe...So helpful when you want to go old school and not use a computer - and with four color photographs on many pages. There are also many whimsical pieces of artwork...like the French guy on a bicycle traveling through Paris with a beanie and baguette...Such a cool collection to have in your cookbook library.

Each book measures approx 11" tall by 9" wide. Excellent condition, some fading.
