Vintage order Perpetual Calendar Desk Calendar Gold Colour Burnished Metal 1940s Vintage Made in England
A lovely very stylish vintage perpetual desk calendar with dials to spin day both digits.
A lovely, very stylish vintage perpetual desk calendar with dials to spin day, both digits of the date and month. Made from engine turned metal of a dark brassy gold colour, it would look fantastic on any desk or table.
Would say it dates from 1940s (possibly 1950s), and is stamped 'Made in England' on the back of the calendar.
The base measures 10cm (4 inches) wide by 4cm (1 3/4 inches) deep and it stands 5cm (2 inches) high.
It weighs 135g (5oz).
The dials all work well and condition overall is good vintage condition - the lettering on the dials is still very clear and there are some marks and areas of aged patina here and there, as to be expected for an item of this order vintage, but overall it is a good vintage example.
This would have looked fantastic gracing a desk back in the mid 20th century, and now it could grace yours...
