This brooch is a playful vintage blue and white enamel Viking Ship. The brooch is sterling silver with a gold wash and bold enamel coloring. The enamel is in very good condition without any chips. There is lovely detailed texture on the sail of the ship. The back of the brooch is signed with the Aksel Holmsen hallmark and marked NORWAY STERLING 9255 S. It measures 34 mm x 30 mm. It weighs 4.8 grams. I have not cleaned this piece at all. As you can see in the photos, some of the gold wash is worn away due to the age of the piece. Please take a moment to review the photos.
