Carefully selected items of new and pre-owned pottery are purchased from a variety of antique and charity shops. Every piece, new or pre-owned is cleaned thoroughly before being prepared for decoration. Each piece is decorated in a unique and bespoke manner using John Tenniel's illustrations from the original 'Alice in Wonderland' book.

This large Coffee Pot is 21 cm (8.1 inches) tall including the lid and from the top of the handle to the edge of the spout measures 22 cm (8 inches). The large quote on each side of the pot is taken from Alice meets the Cheshire Cat and asks for direction. "If you don't know where you are going, any road will take you there". The text 'Alice in Wonderland' runs down the handle with 'Alice in Wonderland' on the lid. A scene from Alice can be found on the spout and next to each of the quotes.

Each scene is created using a digital medium and then printed onto low temperature decal paper. This is applied to the clean surface of the pot before being placed in an oven to be baked onto the piece for over one hour. After the piece has cooled, a medium is applied and the piece is refired to help seal the image.

Each piece can be hand washed in soapy water using a sponge or cloth to clean. DO NOT use any abrasive materials to clean the piece or place in a dishwasher. This will seriously damage the images.
