Hand built porcelain vessel ... vase order ... photograph ... encaustic ... winter trees

this piece kind of explains itself. one of a kind. hand built with slabs of clay. fired with clear glaze inside order. then my original photograph is attached to the outside and encaustic medium (damar resin and beeswax) is applied in many coats with heat. this piece has a different look at each angle. I would consider this as a decorative vessel, although, it can hold water. this needs to stay away from hot/heat. the vessel measures about 7.5 inches tall. certainly one of a kind. interesting, modern and edgy
