Copeland & Garrett Demitasse Duo moulded gold scroll relief design highlighted in gilt c 1840, the pattern 5337 is hand painted on the base. A fine example of Elspar Porcelain. In 1821 Josiah Spode II added another product to the Spode line: Felspar Porcelain as a purer replacement for Cornish China Store which help the raw materials of the Porcelain recipe to fuse together at a lower temperature. The dimensions are 5 7/8” wide for the saucer and 2 7/8” tall for the demitasse cup.


Considering the age, this stunning duo is in excellent condition, the gilding is intact. Very minimal loss of gilt. Please study the photos carefully.


This magnificent collection belonged to an expert of 1750 - 1900 British Potteries, which he lovingly collected, catalogued and researched for over 50 + years.
