This Unique, 1 of a kind adult festival appliqued denim jacket has been lovingly hand crafted. This bold, bright statement 100% cotton jacket is perfect for Spring / Summer and is the ultimate in upcycling. I search for an ace second hand jacket in great condition, this ones an old Wrangler, wash it, decide on a design, hand cut the design and then fuse it to the jacket...at this point I am ready to machine sew round the design to create the applique. All the fabrics used in the applique are bits I've been saving over the last 20 years, desperate to not bin them in the hope I'd get to be creative with them one day. Every item I create is different and has it's own unique story.
Note to your washing machine - I recommend washing at 30 degrees ( good for the planet and great for the applique) and if you are a tumble dryer please turn me inside out.
Please remember that all of these products are made by hand by me so on occasion there may be slight imperfections with the sewing, if I'm being honest it's actually what I like about them and shows that they've be designed and made by a real person with love and not a machine.
