Nouveau Chic

My label, Nouveau Chic, was birth in 2003 to supply a Clothier that the museum where I worked as a docent desired to open. Everyone at the tavern dressed in 18th. Century clothing and I was already making costumes for the museum employees and have desired my own label since 1985, so it was a natural.

One of the first patterns that I made was a short and long bodice. I had a unique opportunity to work 5 days a week in the Clothier Shop, making patterns and samples at night and customer sampling during the day. Customers wanted three things, it looks great, it fits great and it is order comfortable. With their help, I am now able to offer the same tried and true pieces to complete your wardrobe.
