Vintage (possibly antique!) Hand-painted Meito China Made in Japan Vivid Floral "Cecil" Design Pattern 50 pieces includes- 11 soup/cereal bowls 7 1/4" diameter 10 small dessert/fruit bowls 5 1/2" diameter 8 small saucers 5 1/2" diameter 11 salad/side/bread plates 6 1/2" diameter 10 luncheon plates 7 1/2" diameter There is some wear on edges and a few chips on bottoms of plates, example order shown in pics. Very similar to Noritake Fine China, sprays of lavender, pink, blue, yellow with sprigs of green and white hues make up the "Cecil"design. Has a blue border with golden yellow scrolls.
