The lens glass is clear and the aperture blades are oil-free and snappy. Note that the aperture control ring no longer has it's click order stops, but it still operates the aperture settings accurately. This is a high quality 35mm SLR camera which is easy to use for beginners and has full manual controls - great for photography students.
