Product code: Japanese multi-chamber fired bottle vase order
The bottle-shaped vase was fired in the mid-90's with wood as fuel. It was a 3-day long firing in a traditional Japanese multi-chamber "hill-climbing" kiln (Noborigama) at Northern order Arizona University. The flow marks occur when wood ash floats onto the pot at high temperature (~2500 degrees) and combines with the clay surface, forming a natural glaze.
Not 100% water resistant.
