Rockford Tower is a Wilmington, DE landmark, and is situated in order Rockford Park, near the Tower Hill School in the city of Wilmington. Each May, Rockford Park is transformed into a delightful carnival and plant sale benefiting Delaware's children, an event known to locals as the "Wilmington Flower Market (pictured in the season of "spring" painting). ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Originally from Wilmington, Delaware, Stephanie Silverman explores a variety of subjects and styles in her paintings, and often returns to local favorites from her hometown for inspiration. Stephanie's award winning paintings have found homes in collections around the globe.

Stephanie was commissioned to create the annual poster print in 2019, for the 99th Anniversary Year of the Wilmington Flower Market. Another interesting fact:
Rockford Tower was built in 1901, making it one of the oldest standing structures in the state of Delaware. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1978.
