This is a tapestry bell pull which has been made by an American weaving company that is following a pattern I specifically designed for the Halloween season.

The bell pull once was placed next to a wealthy persons bed and was attached to a pulley system that was made to ring a bell in the servants quarters when the home owner needed his servants. I tell people now, that although a great decorative piece, good luck with getting the servants to appear nowadays!
