Antique 1900s French lace christening gown.
This is simply exquisite. It was hand made from the finest muslin with various intricate lace styles throughout.
There is one button at the back and the little threads at order the neck. On the inside is a small red embroidered label with "Paton" which is probably the family name. In France, these red embroidered name labels are very common on antique and vintage clothing.

It is in incredible condition it has been very well cared for. The only fault is a small mark which looks like a rust spot at the back, as shown in the photos.
It is quite tiny - I think for very young babies. Truly divine. I have another one which is very similar -
perfect for twins!
