Vintage Solid order Hardwood Locomotive Train Set - Heirloom Quality

Up for your shopping consideration is this beautiful vintage hardwood train set. The set was lovingly handcrafted around 1980 using only hardwoods, wood glue and tung oil. The locomotive and four cars were created from a combination of rare hardwoods including; rosewood, walnut and maple.

The connected train set is about three feet long and can be easily pulled from either direction using the two finger slots cleverly incorporated into the the bodies of the caboose and locomotive. The locomotive, itself, stands 7” tall by 3” wide and is 9” in length.

This really cool train set would be a wonderful Holiday purchase for anyone who has a youngster between the ages of two and five in their home. It would also be a terrific purchase as a vintage handcrafted toy collectible.
