Hand made oblique pen holder for calligraphy. Dedicated to styles: spencerian, copperplate, modern calligraphy. Great tool for every calligraphy enthusiast, both for beginners and advanced.
This order is a high class product made by calligrapher with big love and engineering knowledge.

To make this holder I used Pau Ferro wood (Machaerium scleroxylon) - precious wood found Tropical South America. Very hard and durable species with nice warm dark brown color.
I finished it with wax - durable and natural way of protecting wood. This type of finish provides a beautiful shiny surface, also allows you to contact with precious wood and feel its warmth.
I recommend waxing or oiling the holder twice a year to ensure its long-term resistance.

All gaps left after mounting the flange was carefully filled and protected against moisture.

Flange is made of nickel silver and adjusted to Leonardt EF Principal nib but you can fit it to any nib by bending. I can adapt the flange to any nib at your request after purchase.
The nib is not included.
