Fused glass red "mended" heart makes a perfect gift for Valentine's day or any occasion for that special someone.
These hearts are designed and created by me in my home studio in WA state. Each piece is hand cut and layered with glass frit and other glass embellishments and fired in my kiln to anywhere from 1200 degrees to 1500 degrees. The glass has been fully annealed for order strength and durability. This heart comes in a custom frame made of reclaimed weathered wood.

A note about fused glass: Although we use new art glass materials for each of pieces the glass may have subtle ripples, swirls, striation and waves which can occur naturally in the mechanical or handcrafted glass production process, Most common are tiny bubbles, which can make for an organic look as they randomly sparkle as the light changes.
