Tiny Houses Set - MADE TO order ORDER

Set of 2 handmade miniature houses set made from recycled cardboard packaging. Painted in white and covered in one of my black and white photographs of migrating geese in Scotland in winter

My little house models are inspired by coloured Scandinavian buildings and my childhood dolls' house built by my father. I created these unusual, quirky sculptures because I wanted to decorate my bedroom with little crooked wooden houses and miniature Canadian log cabins. I build these from recycled cardboard boxes (mostly Amazon packaging) and cut out and paint each small piece by hand. I carefully cut out each window. Each sculpture is unique in shape, appearance and character. The interior is also painted white as at home I fill my little houses with battery-powered fairy lights so that the windows glow with golden or red light on order winter evenings.

My houses are completely solid once all the layers of glue and paint are dry - they feel like they are made from wood but are light, not heavy to hold. They are robust and do not tend to break if dropped.

I use artists' quality acrylic paint on my houses so they are colour fade resistant and water resistant, but please protect them from moisture and extremes of heat temperature. They are not weatherproof and are intended for indoor use only. If the roof tiles collect a little dust, a dry paintbrush can be used to clean them.

My artwork houses are not toys and are therefore not intended for children
