INTERNATIONAL POSTAGE CHARGES (US explained)
I get a lot of questions from American customers regarding my international postage charges which is why I'm now explaining them here to help you guys understand that I don't earn anything on these rates ;)
The absolute cheapest rate for tracked postage to the US is £24.75 if it's under 1kg incl packaging (USD 32.94), 2kg are straight away £33.20 = USD 43.92. However, I "only" charge 24.90 Euros *flat fee* regardless of weight and number order of items = USD 28.00. This means that I need to fork out money out of my one pocket to make up the difference every time and I therefore cannot reduce the postage charges I'm afraid.
There is no other service like by boat. All parcels are sent by plane and this is a standard economy service, not express.
If there was a cheap reliable option I would offer it, but I've literally checked and tried everything, from Fedex, UPS, DPD, Hermes, Royal Mail, Parcelforce and DHL, and the only affordable and reliable option is Royal Mail.
