***About the wood pen***
Material: Wood in resin. Rhodium and gold fittings.
Colour: Brown, black, silver, gold.
Ink Pen: The pen comes with a rollerball style refill which can be rebought at any good stationary store.
The pen also comes enclosed in a beautiful case providing the maximum presentation and also safely storing your fine writing instrument.
This is a one-off handmade pen and the wood on each has its unique grain patterns which cannot be replicated.
***About the process of making custom pens***
Blanks are selected from seasoned wood for their grain and colour. The wood is turned to size, sanded through 5 different grits of sandpaper. I then coat with sanding sealer to seal the grain of the wood before sanding this surface smooth again. Next, I rub the wood with Danish oil to bring out the wonderful colour before finishing off with a rubbing of wax for a great finish and protection.
