Young Edwardian was a California based label started in 1964. They specialized in Victorian and Edwardian inspired dresses I do not know the year of the dress. The label was used in the 1960s - 90s It was inspired by the Victorian order Clothing craze in Britain in the 60s & 70s This dress is Prairie inspired It has an old fashion calico print on its full sleeves & tiered stripes on the skirt Elastic at bottom of the sleeves to add to fullness Elastic neckline Zipper closure. Hook and eye at top of zipper. Eye is missing. Not needed to keep it closed Tiers of faux suede / faux velvet, calico print cotton, and ribbons run down the skirt The top portion, of the dress, is made of a faux suede / faux velvet type of fabric. Very soft It has been loved & washed throughout the years. The label is fraying. The dress is missing a belt or waist tie. There are 2 loops present (see photos). These could easily be cut off (very thin). There are a few loose threads.
