My yarns are hand dyed in Homer, Alaska. I take my inspirations from the incredible beauty that surrounds me and from the Joy of Life! I started dying yarn in response to visitors to my yarn shop, asking for local Alaskan yarns. Each one of my yarns in the Alaskan Colors Collection is carefully designed to reproduce matching colors, but every skein is individually hand painted and one of a kind.
This sock yarn is full of color and very soft. Yarn is machine washable but as with all hand knits, I recommend you wash gently and air dry.
