House or Business Year Established/Circa/Built Placard Sign / custom handcrafted ceramic plaque order for exterior display / 10 background colors

Each historic house or business year plaque is individually handcrafted from a cream colored stoneware clay and finished with glossy clear or white and colored high fire glazes for durability and easy cleaning. They will be beautiful and PERMANENT in all outdoor conditions. Holes are included so the plaque can be attached to a flat surface with stainless steel screws, which I will supply. THEY ARE PERFECT FOR USE IN COASTAL AREAS WHERE METAL PLAQUES CAN DETERIORATE QUICKLY.

The year, raised title panel and border can be pure white[1819] or cream colored [1916] and you choose the color used on the textured background. The c.1750 style pictured can be purchased by choosing it in the drop down menu under "Trim Color/Title".

There this space below the year for an additional panel (family or business name) or simple design (star, heart, etc.) Usually a $5 extra charge would apply. For a more complex design as seen on the 1965 Valley Green plaque you can request a quote.

The oval plaque will be 3/8 of an inch thick, approximately 7 inches tall and 9 inches wide. The raised vintage numerals will be 2.75 inches tall, smooth, and placed against a textured background. If you prefer the plaque to be rectangular just make that request at no extra charge. There will be borders on the top and bottom like my hanging address plaques.

COLORS:
The background glaze color choices not seen here can be seen on other items in my shop (address plaques and pet memorials). The title panel lettering will match the background color or done as requested. If you want a white or cream background the year and trim can be a color of your choice.

I can also do the plaque with TAN numbers and trim and a brown background OR tan background and brown numbers and trim. This is seen on the photo of my small 1918 staked circa plaque which is featured in a separate listing in my shop.

METALLIC TRIM COLORS GOLD, SILVER, and BRONZE:
The 1875 features gold
The 1979 features bronze
The 1830 plaque features silver.
These are paint on the ceramic with a clear coat over them rather than a fired ceramic glaze so I cannot guarantee how durable it will be over a long period of time. I would only recommend choosing these for plaques that will be mounted in areas protected from extreme weather and direct sun.

If you want a different color scheme using colors other than what you see listed or a variation from what is offered please make the request. There are some limitations but I will try to accommodate you.

*CUSTOM INFO - Simply enter the YEAR and your choice for the TITLE PANEL (ex. BUILT, EST., CIRCA, FAMILY NAME, etc.) in the "personalization" box when making the purchase. Also be sure to make the background color and trim/title selections from the drop down boxes that appears under the price in the listing.

If you are ordering the marker as a gift for someone else, and order it will be sent directly to them, you can send me a message and I will gladly include it with the plaque.

SHIPPING TIME:
I will usually construct the plaque within 24 hours after payment and information are received. It will be shipped within 14 days. I would like to ship faster but with drying time and firing, (every piece is fired twice requiring a full day for each and I prefer to fire a full kiln), the time required to ship the marker can vary. You will receive a message giving you the exact mailing date so you will know when to expect delivery.

ADDITIONAL INTERNATIONAL CHARGES :
There could be other costs such as taxes and tariffs that you may have to pay your country's border service upon receiving your item that I cannot estimate or be responsible for. Charges vary from country and region based upon item type and value so do some research before making a purchase if this is a concern.


SPECIAL ORDERS:
I also take special design requests, (sometimes an additional fee is involved), so if you want something different just ask. Custom glaze coloring, (other than colors you see offered), can be arranged but you may have to pay the cost for me to obtain it if I don't have what you want on hand. Size variations are limited to my kiln size and clay characteristics. All special request inquiries will be considered and addressed.
