SIGNED St. Labre order Enameled Metal Bow Brooch and Earrings Set RARE and Collectible Gold Tone Silver Enamel Set 1960s 70s Montana USA

Very rare St. Labre mid-century matching set of a swirled bow brooch and clip earrings. These pieces are finished in gold plate with a silver enamel and are very beautiful in person, having been made with high quality craftsmanship and attention to detail.

This set would make a wonderful gift or addition to your wearable vintage collection order. It's cleaned and ready to wear or display!

BROOCH: has a roll over style clasp which closes securely. It measures approximately 1.75" x 1.5"

EARRINGS: are clip backs and each measure approximately 1" x 0.75"

CONDITION: excellent vintage previously owned with the exception of some wearing on the silver "enamel" on the brooch. I've photographed it well so you can see the wearing is age commensurate wear

HALLMARK: the back of the brooch is stamped St. Labre

NOTEWORTHY: The St. Labre brand existed for a rather short period and was in business on a reservation in Montana in the 60's and early 70's. Pieces from this company are much more rare than the more commonly collected costume pieces from other American costume jewelry manufacturers such as Trifari, Coro, Napier, Monet, Avon, Sarah Coventry, etc.

Despite the fact that the brand existed for a short period, the products from this company are easily recognizable and have distinctive craftsmen, often incorporating rhinestones, crystals, stone chips, gilding and enamel of different colors. Also, the masters of this company used a bijouterie alloy, an appearance resembling tin. Traditionally, all products have marking “St. Labre” on the back side.
