An absolutely gorgeous shawl! The blending of colors is pure genius (IMHO)! Each color slides seamlessly and mystically into the next. Once you think you identify a certain shade, it changes into something new.

While the texture is thin, almost tissue-like, the shawl is far from flimsy. Lots of body here to float around you. Choose what color you want near your face!

A bit of zari gold threading is order woven in bands near each end to further mesmerize.

Fine chevron embroidery in gold runs the length on both sides.

Appears to be silk with maybe some cotton...very fine weave. Also, metallic yarns in gleaming gold. Tests as a natural fabric.

A very lovely piece in like new condition. No problems that I can see.
