Bouquet of order flowers

This photo transfer is on a 8 x 10 inch wood panel. It is a photo transfer of a a bouquet of flowers at the Boston Flower Show. The sides are painted black.

It is a photograph that has been photo copied and transferred onto a wood panel with special glues and coated with a luster mod podge seal. It is equipped with hanging needs.

This photographic transfer onto wood was created in my studio with one of my photographs. I transfer my photographic images onto wood panels, let them sit order overnight, and then begin gently lifting the paper from the wood, while leaving the ink of the images in tact on the wood. It is tedious and exciting work. Each wood panel is unique as I cannot predict or control exactly how perfectly the image will appear as I lift the paper off. That is the beauty and artistic challenge of it.
