This product started with a Pentel Mechanical Pencil. Genuine Pentel, made in Japan.

My version features a Segmented replacement sleeve instead of the standard plastic. I used 7 different types of wood in the build. The pocket clip sits in a shallow groove. Although not shown there is an eraser under the cap.

The completed pencil has been finished with CA "Cyanoacrylate" for a shiny and durable finish. A final coat wax polish to complete the finish. What you see is the natural color of this wood. I don't use stains to color the wood.
