Celestial sterling silver ear jackets with a sterling silver post and butterfly push back. These starry earrings were hand forged in my studio out of 20 gauge sheet. The star impressions was formed by hand stamping and forming. I chose to use 20 g sterling silver order posts with sterling silver butterfly backs. The earrings have been sealed with Renaissance Wax, a temporary sealant to slow tarnish. These earrings were inspired by a love of the night sky. Each sterling silver stud measures approximately .5 inches, while the jacket measures approximately .75 inches. You may purchase just the studs or the stud and ear jacket set. They look lovely worn either way.
