It is a very resistant piece that was bisque fired and then high fired to cone 10 (2345 F).
Nontoxic and high quality glazes apply by hand, brush and it is an ideally to serve milk, coffee, or tea. It is safe to warm this up in the microwave and clean it in the dishwasher.
