order This listing is for a traditional Shepherds Crook style fire poker. The fire pokers are forged from 1/2 inch thick Round bar and the overall length is roughly 30-31". After forging the fire poker, For a silver finish I remove all of the forge scale to reveal the shiny bare metal below for a traditional blackened finish loose forge scale is removed. After hot stamping my touch mark I apply several coats of paste wax at a very low heat to protect the finish and help prevent rust. ***While shipping is "free" to buyers, I'm paying 25-30+$ to ship fire pokers due to new shipping rates.*** The length of this poker makes it perfect for an indoor fireplace, wood burning stove, or outdoor campfire.
