A 1960s Myott China Lyke Ware Vintage Jug / Vintage Water Pitcher

Myott, Son & Co (Ltd) manufacutred earthenwares at the Alexander Pottery, Stoke, Cobridge and Hanley in the heart of the Staffordshire Potteries, England, from 1898

This base stamp was in production from 1959. It has Myott 36 England impressed on the base.

The jug depicts a gentle leaf design, powder blue rim with gilt edges and it matches another larger jug and some egg cups I have listed.

It stands 5 1/2 inches tall with a base rim diameter of 2 3/4 inches.

The condition is good and there are no chips, cracks, or hairlines and there is no sign of any crazing. It is nice and clean and in fine fettle for the order age.

It would be a super addition to any collection, excellent display, practical piece or authentic period prop.
