Antique Wood & Sons English Scenery Teapot Woods Ware Ellgreave order England Blue Transferware *Leaking, Defect*

This is a beautifully detailed blue transferware teapot made by Wood and Sons. The lid has a cabin with a man carrying a load of sticks and leading what looks like a donkey. The pot itself is encircled around the top on a floral pattern. The base is an English village scene with a man riding his donkey down the street. The pot is about 5.5” high with the lid, and 6” wide. It has no chips, but

There is a small red line on the spout upper side. Some minimal crazing.

The pot is stamped into the pot itself Ellgreave England. The ink stamp is: E NOCH Woods English Scenery Wood Ware Wood & Sons England, Enoch 1784 Ralph 1750.
