The mug bodies are thrown, the faces slipcast and then attached, ears carved into the mug, and feet/toes all handmade and attached. . Coloring is hand painted on with ceramic underglazes then fired with food safe glazes over the top.
These are microwave and dishwasher safe. But you may want to follow the old saying that goes with hand made pottery, “Hand made- Hand wash”. My own work I put through the dishwasher. My favorite work order by other artists I hand wash. The choice is yours.
