Silk Scarf (Square) "Purple order Trees", Hand Painted Silk Charmeuse Scarf

This luxurious silk scarf evokes a mysterious twilight atmosphere. It was hand painted in ombre shades of purple and mauve. I have used fiber reactive dyes that are steam set for permanency, then I have accented the piece using black-colored fabric resist.

The fabric is heavyweight silk charmeuse, a buttery, luxurious silk that has a satin finish on order one side, and a crepe texture on the other. It is a versatile extra-large size, nearly square, measuring 42" x 44" and is hand-hemmed. This size makes it generous enough to be used as a shawl.

I recommend hand washing, and I will include care instructions with each piece.
