Charming Vintage ART DECO Red Stone order Dish / Trinket Bowl with Cold Painted Seagull perched on the rim

Such a charming and quirky bon bon dish or trinket bowel. The base material of the bowl is a red speckled stone. It has been beautifully crafted engine turned to get a clean and clear interior of the bowl. order The outside of the bowl has been left in its rugged condition.

The seagull is cold painted on cast metal with immense detail in the casting which is always a sign of quality. The feathers are brilliantly captured with the grain of each feather shown in the detail. The seagull is perched on the rim -ready to take the treasures in the bowl. This could also be a lovely entertaining piece such as a peanut bowl, olive bowl, or just a trinket dish..... Just a few ideas........

Condition : Good vintage condition, some wear commensurate with age and use. There seems to be a small piece missing from the front - This either happened a long time ago or it is the way it was intended as it has the same patina as the rest of the bowl - just wanted to mention it in case one thought it might be a fault.
