Product code: Real Pressed Flower Art Pressed Botanical Art Herbarium of order Bridal Veil Astilbe 11x14

This a real pressed flower art pressed botanical art herbarium of Bridal Veil Astilbe. While it is white when growing, this Astilbe dries to this soft wheat color, allowing it to stand out against the white mounting paper. The unusual zigzag in the stem tells me another stem prevented it from growing straight up to the light. It is such a beautifully elegant botanical. The flower falls gracefully and the leaves are finely cut and serrated-edge. The dark green leaves contrast well with the wheat-colored florets. This stem measures about 6” x 9” and has order leaf sets that are perfection.

The botanical can be displayed in a standard 11x14 frame with or without a mat . The mat in which it is photographed is 11x14 with a window that is 7.5” x 9.5.” The botanical can be purchased without a mat or with a 11x14 mat in white or vanilla.

This botanical is lovely as a specimen piece but also displays wonderfully with other botanicals in the shop. Keep in mind that botanical displays need not be limited to botanicals of the same size. If you would like assistance in putting a collection together, I am happy to help. If you do not see a particular flower or plant you like, please contact me to see if it is available. Numerous pressings of the same flower are typically available.

Ready-made botanicals can be shipped within 3-5 business days of order and payment and are typically shipped in 1-2 days. Please allow 5-10 business days for the shipment of custom items.

Although treated against causes of degradation, real pressed botanicals remain delicate. It is strongly recommended that UV-protective glass be used in framing and that the botanicals be displayed away from direct sunlight, strong artificial light and moisture.
