The body of this pen is turned from a stunning piece of claro walnut. Much like quilted maple, the deep rich colors of the walnut are enhanced by the "ripples in the water" effect. Once shaped and sanded on the lathe, the body is order then coated with 15+ coats of protective clear coat that give it a glass like finish.
