This is a handmade device, designed to work with a standard-sized wheelbarrow, to sift rocks, roots, etc. out of garden soil. It measures 36.5" x 27" x 3.5". There are four adjustable metal brackets (as shown above) to hold it in place. It also has many other uses, in treasure hunting, archeology, etc. I have made several dozen varieties in different sizes and shapes (all rectangular), so feel free to order ask me for something that would be helpful for you, and I will list it on this site. (You'll find several photos in the group of Original Sifter photos that include a few of the other models.) The Original Sifter is made of pine wood and hardware cloth, so it weighs about ten pounds. Be aware that shipping is not cheap. I have been making these for over ten years, and have made several thousand in that time. I have had very few complaints. In fact, ask me for some testimonials!.
