Vintage Danish Louis Poulsen Black Wall Lamp

The model is called Sorte Louis and is an iconic piece of Mid Century Danish lighting design.

High quality directional wall lamp with clear industrial order styling.

Can be used as a spotlight or lower on the wall for instance as bedside lighting.

Made in Denmark by Louis Poulsen in the 1980s.

Has 'max 40w' pleasingly etched on the inner aluminium rim and its original Louis Poulsen sticker under the aluminium reflector.

Is approximately 40cm long and 9cm wide at the shade.

Good vintage condition with minor signs of age. The directional goose neck still works adequately but is not as strong as it would have been originally and this is reflected in the price.

Has its original moulded Danish/European plug but we can fit a UK/Irish, Australia/NZ or US*/Canadian* plug.

Takes an E14 light bulb, maximum 40w.

*If used in the US/100/110/120v we recommend using an energy saving/LED lightbulb. You can use an E14>E12 adapter or you should be able to buy E14 bulbs online.
