This antique engraving was printed in Europe by W.H.Lizars in 1843 and was hand colored. The Duke of Rivoli's Hummingbird ( Trochilus Roivolii )
is framed in a wood frame that is 9 1/2" high x 11 1/2" wide. The engraving is 3 15/16" high x 6 1/8" wide. The bird is native to Mexico.
The print is clear and bright and the background color is a warm light beige. There is a reflection in the bottom half of the framed print.
