This is a salesman sample wash basin from the Strong Manufacturing Company. It is in good condition with wear to be expected for its age, and very small, just 3-1/2" diameter.
I found a copy of one of their early ads online that promoted their goods for enamelware (ad is not included, just to show what they made).
Founded by Thomas L. Strong in 1903 in Bellaire, Ohio the country manufactured enameled order cooking utensils. Oliver and Orville Sebring heard that Mr. Strong was in search of a new location for his plant. They convinced Mr. Strong to move his plant to Sebring, Ohio. It was agreed that the sale of chinaware and cooking utensils would be a great combination.
WAIT! WAIT! One more thing!
