Did you know Swarovski makes BUTTONS??!

Beautifully faceted, pretty, sparkly buttons. Like big ol diamonds. When I first discovered them, I was beyond excited. Even though I don't sew! Besides using them on clothes, what else could be done? EARRINGS. RINGS.

For this design, I created bezels around Swarovski Black Diamond Rivoli crystals with Miyuki Delicas, 2mm peach and pink Calcite, nylon thread, and a needle.

What's a bezel? It can be described as a 'ring' that securely nestles a stone. The bezel encases the stone, while protecting it and showcasing its beauty.

Bezeling requires much skill and LOTS of patience, and it takes a very long time - but the results are so unique and beautiful, it's worth it. These will not be in order regular rotation, but I do hope to try my hand at another pair/different colour combo sometime soon

Swarovski has discontinued many of their buttons (WWHHYYYY???) ... so when they're gone that's it.

The size of the Swarovski crystals give these more weight than more of my earrings, most of which don't even register on the scale. These guys weigh in at 2g each.

I ship by Canada Post regular mail (Canada), and Small Packet Air to all other destinations. Usually your purchase arrives within 10 to 14 BUSINESS days.
