"Winter on the Plateau" is a photographic print of the traditional walk-up staircases covered in snow in Montreal, Canada.

CANVAS
Each high-quality canvas is stretched on a solid wood frame and protected with an invisible layer of UV-resistant film, ensuring that the vibrant colors of the canvas will order not fade over time. By default, canvas edges are black. If you would like the image to wrap around the wood frame, please contact me for a custom listing. Recommended for a more classic look!

ALUMINUM
The metallic look is vibrant, eye-catching and unique. The white in each photograph comes out as raw metal (silver), while all other colors remain saturated. The way they catch the light make them look different depending on the angle and the light in the room. The surface shows the lines of the brushed aluminum.

Recommended for images with a strong contrast between light and dark, including black and white images. For images with bright saturated colors, it is recommended to go with acrylic instead because the aluminum tends to decrease the saturation of the colors.

Each aluminum transfer is made on 1/8" sheets. The metal print is backed with a floater frame (wood backing) and hung by a wire. The floater frame is invisible from frontal view, and allows the acrylic to "float" about 2 inches off the wall.

ACRYLIC
Acrylic is a medium that makes art truly stand out, with its modern, clean look and breathtakingly crisp colors. Acrylic brings the art to life, conveying more depth and detail. The result is absolutely impressive! Acrylic does have a bit of glare in direct light. If you don't like glare, opt instead for canvas or wood!

The acrylic is backed with a floater frame (wood backing) and hung by a wire. The floater frame is invisible from frontal view and allows the acrylic to "float" about 2 inches off the wall.

WOOD
Wood mounts are rustic, vintage and stylish. The photograph is printed on multilayer birch wood and is fitted with a floating frame and metal hook, so the art is ready to hang. The wood is highly durable as it is composed of hardwood (rather than softwood) layers.
